Mechatronics Project
TOP PUTT
The Top Putt project is a mechatronic system designed to help golfers improve their putting precision and consistency. The device detects misses and successful hits toward a hole, providing real-time feedback through multiple displays that show the number of balls remaining in the current turn, the player's score, the high score, and whose turn it is. Additionally, audio output offers immediate audible feedback to indicate whether the shot was a success or a miss.
Design
The Top Putt system consists of:
-
A strike detection mechanism using a photoelectric sensor.
-
A display system with an LCD1602 module for providing feedback metrics such as speed and accuracy.
-
A speaker provides audio cues for feedback.
-
A motorized mechanism to reset the ball position after each putt.
-
A robust 3D-printed housing for all components.
